'''BBC Radio 1''' is a radio station operated by the British Broadcasting Corporation (BBC). It is aimed at younger listeners (teenagers and young adults) and was launched in September 1967.

[[Chris Moyles]] appeared on the station between July 1997 and September 2012, hosting in various time slots ([[The Early Bit]] from 1997-98, [[The Saturday Show]] from 1998-2001, [[The Afternoon Show]] from 1998-2004 and finally [[The Chris Moyles Show]] at breakfast from 2004-2012).

As of July 2013, Moyles is still contracted to the station but has not appeared on the air since the final Breakfast Show in September 2012.
