But entering into a competition is a contract, where the person is being given a chance to enter, for the cost of entering.
A clause such as that would not be valid for preventing any legal action, as the 'reasonable man' concept, as well as common knowledge for competition entries, means that each person should have what can be considered a fair chance (which means questions cannot be biased towards one person, unless there is something specifically stated in the competition that there will be a bias, and its cause).
Having said that, i don't really care either way, and as i said, because the guy was such an idiot with the questions, he couldn't mount a civil case anyay.
