Was a bit annoyed by the bias in the competition today, and AFAIK thats actually illegal (something to do with contract law), but as the guy was such an idiot in the first place, he wouldn't have a case.

I don't think so. Haven't actually heard the clip in question, but often in competitions there is a clause saying "The Editors (or equivilant) decision is final" - in this case the editor being Chris or Rachel

But entering into a competition is a contract, where the person is being given a chance to enter, for the cost of entering.
A clause such as that would not be valid for preventing any legal action, as the 'reasonable man' concept, as well as common knowledge for competition entries, means that each person should have what can be considered a fair chance (which means questions cannot be biased towards one person, unless there is something specifically stated in the competition that there will be a bias, and its cause).

Having said that, i don't really care either way, and as i said, because the guy was such an idiot with the questions, he couldn't mount a civil case anyay.
