Surely it must have been later than that for Aled to be there?

Did Aled not join radio 1 in about 2000 as part of one of the talent schemes? Or am I totally mistaken?

Thanks for your comments.

I'm not blaming the reviewer, I do understand that the review is a transcript of the show, and as Chris said, I just wanted to respond to what was said.

I've spoken to Aled a few times, and he isn't embarassed at all. He suggested this would be the right place to respond to the show review if I wanted to do so.

As for the other points, It wasn't '97 it was '99, and no, Aled didn't join through "Talent" he moved from TV Centre to R1 in 1998/99 if I remember correctly.

Anyway, as I said before, there is no hard feelings, I do really enjoy the show, but just felt on this one, I wanted the right to reply.
