Coz yes, I'm a schumacher fan, but I was close to turning off last year. Now the smugness of the commentary team and newspaper coverage after annoys me.
They all claim to be impartial and then comment on how schumacher is 'crap' this year etc (hating him of course for incidents that happened the best part of a decade ago now).... and they act like its good for the sport when Renault dominates...
Guess i'll try watching with sound off but then it is nowhere near the same experience.... maybe ill try ITV for pics but 5 live for commentary, but i get the feeling they have the same anti-schumacher stance while still claiming to be impartial.
Schumacher winning was worth watching, but I didn't see Alonso the same way. Not that I don't like him or anything, just not as much a fan as I am of schumacher.
Add in the fact that others like Montoya started winning toward the end of last year... despite this people still claim those races were 'processional' which is how they seem to me this year with new rules. I just read a quote from Trulli who said he didn't bother pushing too hard to chase Alonso, people actually tried last year to chase Ferrari down as it sometimes worked.
Anyone who thinks we're contributing to the dumbing-down of internet forums can shove their stupid opinion up their a$$
