Just wondering I caught a bit of the Scott Mills show yesterday which said that Chappers had been fired. Was this a joke that I didn't catch the start of? And if not what was he fired for?

Also wheres Aled? Is he off sick?

Probably a joke... in the same way Chris used to go on about Dave Pearce being arrested any time Dave wasnt doing his show.

Aled is day producing at the momment. Usually makes an appearance after 9.

The story is Chappers is fired, "following an incident at the Radio 1 Staff Party", so will be replaced with Cilla in Monday.

He actually went on holiday after the staff party. The firing thing came about after Scotts and Cillas new TV show was announced.
