Plenty went on in 2003 - just wondering what you remember the most from the year that is about to end?

Wonder whats going to happen in 2004?

What I remember about 2003...... the end of Concordes flights, Rugby World cup win and of course, my arrival at chrismoyles.net!!!!!! I'm sure I'll remember some more important events than that later. Merry Christmas everyone and a happy New year to everyone also.

I'll repeat that last bit too, hope everyone has an enjoyable Christmas, and all the best for 2004.

I guess the thing I'll remember most is Iraq, and the capture of Saddam Hussain, as it is something that will stick out in years to come. 2004, will likely be dominated this as they rebuild Iraq and hopefully give the country a democracy. But I think there will be more troubles to come.

Other things I will likely remember in years to come, is things like the Soham Trial, The Hutton Enquiry, Columbia Crash, Bali bombing, SARS. It hasn't been the most positive of years has it?!

Correct. There has been positives like.. erm I'll think of some later. Some more memorys of 2003: Ian Huntley case, the picture of Saddam's statue getting toppeled still stays in my memory and so does Saddam getiing captured as Gigglyboots said.

Only positive things stand out for me - like getting together with my girlfriend at the beginning of the year, my 18th birthday, etc.....

Also things like my last year of school, having a blast in S6, everyone going crazy on the last day, a REALLY long summer holiday where I got to spend heaps of time with friends/girlfriend and made a fair bit of £ working aswell.

After that, of course, was the big move to uni which scared the crap out of me but has become one of the best experiences of my life.

Really good year for me, everything looking positive.

In my list of years this year is 18th

1. 1999 - ah glory year... left college started uni
2. 1996 - euro 96... a great summer
3. 1995 - everton won a trophey... an i remember it an manyoo won nowt
4. 1987 - everton win the league...
5. 1984 - watford, elton john... hahaha
6. 1985 - bayern munich, andy gray, rapid vienna, wahey
7. 2002 - finished my degree vgot a job
8. 1981 - was born... great year for the world
9. 1982 - dont remember much..
10. 1983 - ditto
11. 1997 - started college... was a bit dull
12. 1986 - gary lineker golden boot winner while at everton... hand of god though
13. 1990 - italia 90 is the only thing i remember
14. 1991 - the gazza cup final, des walker own goal
15. 1992 - my years are defined by football arent they? a goalkeeper wins a major trophey for a country... years before oliver kahn nearly did it.
16. 1993 - anything memorable? at all?
17. 1994 - worst world cup in living memory
18. 2003 - anti-climax... things are looking up though
19. 2000 - france destroyed everyone. millenium (im counting that as this year) was sh*te
20. 2001 - just generally naff
21. 1988 - ruud gullits header, marco van bastan an a jean pierre papin shirt i wore for years... great.
22. 1989 - red sh*te
23. 1998 - young welshman only highlight for england.

I'm 4ft 5 (wide) so at least the fat b*stard is true.
