The point is, being Number 1 doesn't always mean it's quality.

Obviously, as quality is an opinion. Being number one does means more people think your record is quality that week to buy it rather than any other record.

I love the streets, got both albums and opm is better.
And yeah, i think that the album chart is more important than singles anyway, as it shows people love your music rather than one specific song.
